Geneva breast cancer Centre
Geneva's first private centre for breast cancer treatment
Breast cancer specialists, members of the SONGe association and the Clinique des Grangettes, are proud to announce the opening of a new breast cancer centre.
The centre, organised by these two units of excellence, meets the requirements of international guidelines and standards.
A multidisciplinary team to serve their patients
The Geneva breast cancer Centre offers its patients specialised treatment of the highest quality thanks to its multidisciplinary team.
The team includes the following specialists: breast surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons, pathologists, geneticists, specialised nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians and psychologists. These specialists devote themselves to each patient individually in order to provide the best possible care.
The centre offers personalised assistance and treatment at every stage of the patient’s care—from diagnosis to surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and follow-up.
Every patient diagnosed with breast cancer is discussed at a multidisciplinary meeting before and after surgery in order to define the best treatment according to international guidelines and standards.
Compliance with the multidisciplinary team’s recommendations are audited.
A highly qualified team and the very latest equipment
The Geneva breast cancer Centre brings together a team of experienced specialists who have been working together for many years treating patients with breast anomalies. The medical team has access to state of the art technology for imaging, surgical equipment and radiotherapy.
The Geneva breast cancer Centre ensures an assessment of abnormal mammographies and a diagnosis in a single day thanks to the on-call medical team.
A centre open to all patients
Our patient procedures (radiology, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and medical consultations) are covered by basic medical insurance.
In case of hospitalisation, patients with a basic medical insurance can also be treated at the Geneva breast cancer Center according to quotas granted by the State of Geneva.
